Ah, 2019! A brand new year. 2018 was a year of metamorphosis for me. I moved to a new city, shifted my career focus and deepened my yoga practice. I have so many big goals for the new year that I can’t possibly put them all into one post. One of the things I’ve learned in life is that a new year doesn’t automatically bring me a clean slate. Creating space for new habits to develop takes some deliberate effort. As I returned to Edinburgh I was already formulating a plan to beat the winter blues and start the new year off on a positive tone. As the universe would have it, a wonderful opportunity fell into my lap! I will begin 2019 doing two of my very favorite things… yoga and writing. I am so thrilled to be attending this year’s Aurora Writer’s 2019 Yoga and Writing Retreat!
Aurora Writer’s promises to be a day of movement, creativity, meditation, and sheer spa indulgence. Taught by two teachers that are masters of their craft, it will be a perfect opportunity to use yoga to unlock my creative potential and set a positive tone for the new year!
